Gregg Outdoors

Gregg Outdoors is our outdoor learning experience that takes place within The Gregg School woodland. 

As well as developing a range of different skills, pupils are encouraged to take supported risks such as putting on secure Bee Keeping overalls and inspecting the honey produced in the hives at our senior school. Gregg Outdoors aims to promote holistic development for all involved, fostering resilient, confident, independent and creative learners.

This specialised learning approach is different to outside education, although it may indeed touch on subjects like literacy and mathematics within the activities provided. It allows participants to develop a strong and positive relationship between themselves and the natural world around them. It promotes wellbeing and enables all involved to experience seasonal changes.

Each session is planned, adapted, observed and reviewed by our Outdoors Leaders.
